Hi! My name is Ranee - Welcome to the Gingko MetalArts studio where I am trying to continue the tradition of the Arts and Crafts movement! I take common objects and make them Art. Designs are mostly organic influenced by designs from the early 1900's. I take "found" objects, or make from scratch, then tool, inlay or acid etch copper, brass, tin or aluminum. Many pieces are one of a kind, but some pieces such as light switch plates, door push plates and tiles can be easily dupilcated. If there is a design or motif in your home you would like to see duplicated let us know. Custom orders are welcome! Ideas, comments or thoughts are appreciated! Browse through our crafts and check in often- I am currently learning inlay enameling! I've only been working in metal for about three years, but I've been an artist all my life! I'm best know for my wax resist on paper where I've won many regional awards. You may see some of that process here in the future. But I have so many ideas that I can't keep up.
